CIGNA enrollees: Flu Shots are Coming!
Flu season is here. The best way to avoid catching the flu is to get vaccinated. Germs spread fast, especially around the workplace. Protect yourself and others by getting the flu shot.
City of Tucson employees enrolled in the City's Cigna medical plan can get free shots at various worksite locations during the month of November.
For your convenience, flu shots are BY APPOINTMENT this year. Sign up information - including deadlines - will be on the calendar below (coming soon!). (Walk-ins may be accepted toward the end of each clinic, subject to availability.)
Bring YOUR Cigna ID card (Must show that your Cigna plan is through City of Tucson) AND
Bring your employee ID badge or other government-issued photo ID card (Name on photo ID MUST MATCH name on Cigna ID)
If your ID doesn't meet the above criteria, or if you bring ID that isn't yours, we apologize - you will not be able to receive a flu shot at the onsite clinics.
* This shot covers three flu strains, not four and is NOT mercury-free
Coming soon! A calendar of where and when a Flu Clinic will be near you!
You are also able to get vaccinated through Wallgreen's Take Care Clinics and CVS Minute Clinics. A number of pharmacies also participate, and if they file your claim as "medical" instead of "pharmacy", you should have little or no cost. Please contact CIGNA's Customer Service at 1-800-244-6224 to find a network location.
